• Embers

A Spectre Is Haunting Europe’s 2008 LP Embers, pictured right, is a creative commons (attribution only) free digital album containing the latest in avant dark indie music. It is a tumultuous, thorny, and highly idiosyncratic sociology-via-music of bodies and cities, rights & regrets, cadavers, intellectual decline and ancient pieces of knowledge scrambled by a contemporary techné that’s explosive, brutish yet graspable, bearing a glint of possibilities for those fortunate enough to be curious about it enough to crack it open.

It is 10 songs, released sequentially, on a weekly basis, from September 5th for ten weeks. after that the album’s yours and everyone’s.
